Spotlight: "We Live Inside a Dream" by Danae Panagiotidi

Danae Panagiotidi explores the theme of perception asking the question of what it means to exist in-between. Originating from a personal experience of Panagiotidi’s mother being in the ICU under deep sedation, the photographs are informed by scientific research as well as being an emotional metaphor. The visual narrative focusing on observing the passing of time and what it is like to inhabit the liminal space of consciousness.
